Discovery of Baby's Body in Medan, Allegedly Result of Incestuous Relationship Between Siblings

The residents of Medan were shocked by the discovery of a baby’s body, which was sent using an online motorcycle taxi service. This alarming incident took place on Friday morning when an ojol driver received a package containing the baby’s body. Following an investigation, it was revealed that the baby was allegedly the result of an incestuous relationship between siblings, NH (21) and R (25), who have now been arrested and named suspects.

NH and R were apprehended in the Medan Belawan area on the same morning after police learned of their involvement in sending the baby’s remains. The two siblings were accused of handing over a package containing the baby’s body to the ojol driver, who then delivered it to an unknown location, a public cemetery on Jalan Kapten Muchtar Basri.

Further investigation revealed that NH gave birth to the baby at her home in the Sicanang area, Medan Belawan, on May 3, 2025. The baby was taken to a hospital due to worsening health conditions but was sent back home due to financial constraints. Kombes Gidion Arif Setyawan, the head of Medan police, stated that the baby died on May 7, 2025, due to an illness that could not be properly treated.

After the baby’s death, R took the initiative to dispose of the body in a highly inhumane manner. He placed the baby’s body in a cardboard box and ordered an online motorcycle taxi to send the "package" to a public cemetery on Jalan Kapten Muchtar Basri. This action further exacerbated the situation, given the absurdity of the method used to transport the remains.

Further investigation uncovered another shocking fact. NH confessed to having a romantic relationship with R, her own brother. This revelation was the climax of an investigation that unraveled the dark side of the case. "She (NH) admitted to dating (R)," said Kombes Gidion during a press conference held on Friday (May 9, 2025).

This case has attracted public attention regarding the social and moral aspects involved. The community was left stunned by the very unusual behavior, which involved a family relationship and cruel actions toward an innocent baby. The case is now under serious investigation by authorities, who are committed to uncovering all the facts and following through with the legal process against the two suspects.
